Ok so I'm making a new fursona.
    https://www.weasyl.com/submission/1208226/wip-fursona

I need help with her design, well Pelt design that is, I have her accessories and what she wears, I just really need help with her pelt
But if you do have any suggestions for wearable items then go ahead, I love ideas
Also, don't mind the purple thing in her pouch, that is a Alpaca plushie X3

I think it is pretty good as is. I guess if you wanted to add something else, maybe something on the tail or the spots patterned in a shape? Overall though I am liking the spots on the face the best.

I feel like you have an exceptional base for the specific markings you envisioned for your character. My suggestion is to vary the shading slightly for some of the dots you currently have based on her pelt. As the poster above mentioned, work on the tail with adding in some patterns would be a wonderful addition.

Personally, my suggestion would be through an alternating triangle stripe pattern. However please do as you see fit.

Outside of the tail having some form of variation..I believe the term less is best for this work in progress. You have a solid foundation for your character.

I can say that a lot of little spots looks cool, but be prepared to possibly annoy artists and probably deal with em being a bit(or a lot) off model all the time :U

But I mean, looks like a decent design to me. I can't point out any big glaring flaws in it so that's good. I always just try and keep in mind that good design usually requires reducing things to the minimum they can be while still functioning as you intend them to.

Lol, I was debating on spots, I tried larger ones, didn't look at good as the smaller ones did
And ive been doodling her a bit, It gets to be a bit of a hassle
Plus, right now ive only added tail spots and she looks pretty well put and finished. With all the spots, putting anything on her pelt now would over do it, but of course I'm always up for suggestions XD
Despite the accessories and outfits I'm doing for her, shes pretty much done :3

Looks alright for a cute character, except for the spots which were mentioned before, I can not see much that any artist would have a problem with. Can see it as just something silly to interact with when in RP situations like Second Life or what not.

Nothing wrong with being simple or silly, sometimes people put way too much thought into such things and just get overly complicated.

To throw in my two cents about the spots, you could look at the base animals for inspiration. For me, I get a young-animal vibe from her, so maybe you could pattern the spots like a lion cub would have? The spots could be limited the the legs/top of the head and that would be something more unique than most spotted characters.

Other than that, I think you nailed the natural color palette!
