https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RthZgszykLs I had to make that joke. "We're out of beta, we're releasing on time."
Anyway, I'm really glad that Weasyl is out of beta! I felt this exact same way when MineCraft left beta, I felt accomplished to be a part of the transition from beta to full release. ^^ Here's to all that comes after!
-Insert inspirational quote here-
Ahh, Portal. Good catch on the word play, I hadn't thought of that. (Maybe I was subconsciously thinking about GLADOS when I wrote the news post.)
And we're glad you've stayed with us throughout our Beta journey and beyond! We hope to continue to see our users enjoying the site and watching the Weasyl community grow.![]()
I actually sometimes forgot that it was still in beta all this time.
So does this mean any big changes on the horizon or just continuing at the steady pace?
Sweet.

We'll find a reason, or else realize that we don't need one.
I don't think there's any plans to slow down. There's still a number of features I've got on my wishlist, but Weasyl's definitely outgrown what could be called a "beta". I see it as a sign to commit to keeping the quality of the site high and having pride in what we do. Because it's not just an experiment or a toy, it's the real deal.
I'm happy that I was here to see Weasyl grow up! I can't wait to see what's next. Good job, guys!
No matter what happens, I will have always produced more visible work on my solo project than Ken Penders has on his in the last five years.
I write and draw a manga. It's like a backwards comic. Give it shot, bro.
"You can't just slap "& Knuckles" onto everything." & Knuckles
Nice to see Weasyl finally out of Beta mode. I can't wait to see what is in store from here on out.
