    Help Weasyl as a developer!

As Weasyl continues to grow, so too does our need for skills on our code development and technical staff. Weasyl is a work in progress, and as such we can always use qualified technical staff to help keep our feature-set moving forward. Our technology stack is Python, SQLAlchemy, Postgresql, and web-frameworks like web.py and pyramid.

If you're interested in joining, here’s how to apply.

    1. git clone https://gitlab.weasyldev.com/weasyl/guestbook.git
    2. Make the fixes and code changes you deem necessary
    3. Create a patch of your changes with git format-patch
    4. Attach your patch to an email introducing yourself and your background, to support@weasyl.com

We look forward to hearing from you!

But the real question: do I use Python 2 or Python 3?

I just have a couple of questions:

    1. Is there a deadline for this particular posting?
    2. What is the nature of the work? Full-time? Part-time? Contract? Volunteer?

    Thanks!

It’s volunteer work, and there is no deadline.

My experience with python is slim, but I think I can look up to refresh my python skills to work on it

Wow, that was a lot of fun. I've never played with Flask before, although I never did successfully clone from the repository. Handshake failures :L . I did get ahold of the code via zip, though. Of course, once I finally felt happy with it, it also left me worrying whether or not I have the time to dedicate to this along with working and everything else in life. Given that I didn't clone it, I probably can't do a git patch anyways. I could post it to my public github, but then Noxid would probably scratch my eyes out because it's supposed to be a test for other developers. 450 lines of test code and no one will ever see them but me T_T.
