It's sad to see the end of Top Gear with him at the helm, but I honestly can't say I'm surprised. He was only going to get away with his shennanigans for so long.

That's a real bummer. From what I've heard, Richard and James are probably going to leave the show as well, now that Jeremy's been axed. The show's pretty much toast at this point.

Some network will pick them up for a new show. Top Gear by another name, hopefully with less producer punching this time around.

I can see that happening. Though it'll probably mean that I won't be able to see it over here in the states unless it went on a streaming service like Netflix. Of course, why would they not?

At any rate, I don't know anything about the dude or care, but it sounds like he turned himself in and that he deserves it. Who the fuck attacks a member of their own staff over something that isn't even their fault? Even verbally, let alone physically attacking. Asshole.
