Guady bowling shirt > Landing on a comet

First article of concern: https://archive.today/4ze9b that is deadly serious in its proclamation that a bowling shirt is "3 steps back" for humanity and that is the biggest obstacle for women entering STEM paths.

    Then this happened:
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/s...ive-shirt.html

So congratulations, you've bullied what is most likely a socially awkward recluse bad ass nerd into tears because your "feels" were violated. A shirt he received as a gift from a close friend and worn to the greatest moment of his life is now a giant reminder of the day he became a misogynist.

Damn bowling shirts, if they had their way women's suffrage would have never come to pass!

People really need to find something to do instead of finding something to be offended about. I'll admit it wasn't the greatest fashion choice or the most professional, but to label the man a misogynist without ever getting to know him is absurd.

I think it sucks a lot for the lady that made him the shirt too.

Wow, that's like some new level of being offended by stupid shit.

But I guess harassing the shit out of someone who didn't do anything to you is perfectly fine and valid if you slap a social justice label on it.

I should remember that next time I want to troll someone.
Just pick some vague SJ cause to justify my actions.

anybody seem Kim Kardashian's ass? Looks like she's half centaur.

We really need to stop objectifying women with anime characters on shirts.

Really though, anybody see her ass? Looks like a seal covered in oil, it's great

Meh. He's a grown ass man. Don't complain about professional victims if he's acting like one. Crying over what ppl think of shirt? Shameful.

And it *was* rather tacky and unprofessional. You don't see any of the women folk wearing dresses with giant male cocks in leather cock rings.

But boo-hoo for Mr. Scientist. I never understand public apologies, they just make a person look weak and submissive to majority opinion.

I think it's less about criticizing his fashion choices, and more about how everyone is diminishing what he actually did, instead focusing on a dumb shirt.
I'd feel pretty upset about that shit, too.
But I wouldn't cry about it. I'd be hella pissed, though.

Also, I still don't see why it would matter, if a woman was put into the same position, wearing a shirt with bulges or half-naked men on it (a more accurate comparison, because there's no porn on the shirt that I can see).
Because she still went into fucking space.
The public reaction to this is just prime example for reaching and picking for things to cry about.
