We use the IRC server for purposes other than the public channels (#weasyl, #weasyl-projects).

Ended up getting connecting to Weasyl IRC working, thanks to an awesome friend setting up a relay server for me. Shouldn't be necessary, but, well, it works.

And, yes, SSL works.

Is the X mode supported by the server? Because I checked my whois, and it's giving out some info that it shouldn't be giving out

The server is running ircd-ratbox, which does not support this feature.

That's a shame, I guess. I was gonna check it out but I really wasn't comfortable with that kinda info publicly available to anyone who runs the command
