I think the guy went too far into the story by creating symbols and meanings for the cover to be really erotic, but you know, thats what he wants. I thinks its cool and interesting but its not exactly a porno cover. Then again he told me it was an erotic novel, maybe its not. XD
Both my feelings and his were discussed and this was the result. I'll be working on it tomorrow.

Dude I totally wish that I knew the full on story! It would make things much easier but the author wishes not to disclose much
so far all I know

1. Its somewhat religious and has to do with Easter
2. The rabbits are taking over the world and are in a religious war
3. The rabbit which I have drawn is a whore in some kind of prostitution house. She is called the whore of Babylon.

I was originally told it was an erotic novel, but I am beginning to think there is just some sex in it and that its only part of something bigger. I am a bit confused myself, so I only get what I am told, and I draw what he asks for. I have several different idea's but now he really wants to represent all aspects of his book instead of an erotic cover. The original idea was really really bland.
so anything you can suggest I add would be great, I will pitch it to him, but it has to have the seven arms doing what they are already doing, and yeah I have a limited time as well, so whatever he gets isnt going to be 100% awesome, sadly. I wish he would consider some other ideas but he doesn't want to, which is fine, its his story.

Currently I am going to make the cross bigger, and possibly add some patterns to the egg.

Looking forward to an update on the novel cover. Also, I love that Gijinka design! The "blurriness" on the outer/upper dress really does look like an intentional fabric texture. I'm not sure if that's what you wanted since you were going for lace, but visually it appears fine.

I think it's looking good so far! I like the framing of the egg.

I guess if I had to make a suggestion if you were looking to make the rabbit the focus would be to thin the lines on the egg.

Thank you, i totally agree with you there, when I drew the egg originally I had intended to make the line art of the rabbit thicker. I didn't like it though, so I will probably do exactly as you say.
Hoping to make a lot more progress tomorrow, trying to get a bigger deadline as I'm not getting enough answers in a timely fashion.
