Where I come from... The Game

So I've been told I keep comparing how things work where I come from with other places like the US and such, so I decided I might as well make some kind of megathread to keep all the comparing there but at the same time I didn't want to make a giant brick of a text that nobody would read so I figured I might as well make a lil' game out of it, similar to the Simple Questions thread.

First, you ask a question like "How much do you pay per month on average for the Internet where you're from, and what's the download speed and bandwidth cap? (if applicable)", then you answer it yourself and the next user as to answer it, ask another question, answer it and so go on! That way we can all compare our places without looking like elitist douches :3

So, how much do you pay per month on average for the Internet where you're from, and what's the download speed and bandwidth cap? (if applicable)

EDIT: I set a poor example, I didn't even answer my own question! My mom pays around 70$/month for 4 mb/s download, virtually no upload and a 35gb cap.

$78.95 per month, 6/0.5 Mbps, 150 GB cap

Have you ever seen a Subaru where you live? I have never seen one in the wild and a cheap, awd utility vehicle with decent gas mileage seems too good to be true. I think Subaru is a lie.

Subaru is fairly popular here in the frozen north. My mother had an Outback that I ended up with as a hand-me-down and it was a pretty sweet ride until the transmission died.

edit: Oh derp this is a question game. Um.

Is it "soda" or "pop" where you live?

Neither! It's fizzy drink, or Soft drink!

What's the most popular quick snack food where you're from?

    It's sodapop here! Hah!
    NOPE

Chips, as in the crunchy kind, mostly. Whatever comes out of a bag, really!

Where you live, are ice-cream and custard stands open year-round?

Nope, only at summer. Well, for ice-cream stands, that is. Custard stands don't exist here.

How expensive is a college semester, books and materials excluded?

EDIT: I did it again! Here, a college semester costs 125$ and that includes the multiple insurances.

    For me, it's around $4,000 a semester.

Where you live, what do most people do to pass the time?

Eh, sadly I'd have to say watch TV. I mean at winter you can take walks with snowshoes, ski-doo or go ice-fishing but when it's -72.4F outside, it isn't so interesting and the local library doesn't have enough budget to have an interesting collection so people have to resort to TV. The rest of the year, however, people can take walks, go fish, swim, hunt during hunting season and whatnot but yeah, even then you can't do that all day so TV it is.

What's the most popular kind of music where you live? Here, it's probably either country music from the 60s and 70s because most people are old and that's what they make their kids listen to, so they grow to like it.

All sorts of varieties of rock are most popular, mixed in with Ke$ha-like garbage.

What is the coolest wild animal native to your area?
EDIT: Oh!! Pff I forgot we were supposed to answer our own questions.

The coolest wild animal native to my area is the timberwolf or coywolf.

You forgot to answer it :V. But here we have everything. Bears, foxes, wolves, lynxes, pumas (or mountain lions as Americans call 'em), coyotes, raccoons, rabbits, partridges (so many partridges), wild turkeys, deers, and many others that aren't really cool... take your pick which one's the coolest

What's the lowest and highest temperature you've hit where you live in 2013? Here, we hit -72.4F in January and 129.4F in July.
