This is the only site that I currently post any of my writing on, and it will stay that way. This and the Goth.net forum communities are now the only ones I spend time on, all others are severed.

I'm not really moving over to Weasyl, I'm staying on Furaffinity as well, however I thought that the layout and everything looked stupendous on this website, I especially enjoyed the thumbnail system, very fun.I've been meaning to join the website for a few years now,even. The people seem nicer (if a bit quiet), and these forums even seem to be more pleasant overall. I also wish to get a foot in the door as far as archosaurs are concerned, maybe even help people with them, as that's a big goal of mine.

I can definitely see why people would move though, lots of stupid drama. I'm not effected by, nor do I care about what's going on over there, as long as I can just put up my art unimpeded I'm fine, regardless of how staff act on and offsite, as long as it doesn't affect my art directly, or my friends themselves. But Weasyl just offers soo much more than the other sites that I just don't think I'm going to leave, unless herded out.

I'm not really migrating from FA, as I've a lot of my old work there; but seeing as so many people are coming here it wouldn't make sense not to take my music where the ears are.

I've never had a fanbase so moving to Weasyl was pretty easy.

I know you will, you just have to keep making and posting your works for us to see.

I'm not an FA migrant (I'm neither a furry or a furry artist so it didn't seem like a site I could fully invest myself in, though the fandom seems very nice), but I did migrate from DeviantART recently. Too much admin trouble and not enough focus on running the site properly to avoid thieves and drama. Weasyl does seem very welcoming and calm by comparison to DA and the other art site I've joined over the years. It's a nice change of pace.

Hopefully it'll be a good place to continue hosting my art and improving my skills. Maybe I'll make a few friends along the way, haha.

I have migrated here but I also use another gallery (CGHub). I feel the atmosphere is less toxic. I noticed a lot of people hostile and mean towards others who have made the decision to move because they felt the environment at FA was bad. That just proves the point. I find it refreshing to be here. I think because people kept moving after different dramas regarding the site, it just made people mad or bitter.

I think in a way even if people hate sports, the mentality is like sports fans where they have to stick by a team no matter how they perform, and make excuses. But it's just a website it's not the cable or phone company. It is not uncommon for people to move on after all, how many people are using a Geocities or tripod site still?

I do feel it's a bit disingenuous to segregate those that draw porn from "actual" artists. It is refreshing to see a variety of art in my opinion, and I like the variety of subject matter. Some of us have no problem drawing different subject matter, it doesn't make anyone a more "real' artist than the other. It can make one a better or more varied artist. It can also be that some are professionals.

Not having a fanbase, so the move was easy is pretty much how I felt about it. Brought along my.. what.. 3 "fans", if you can count your husband and your friends as fans. >_>

It was also pretty easy because, in my opinion, Weasyl is just smoother all around, like to look at, interact with, etc. So I guess you can count me as migrated. o3o

I've had a Weasyl account for longer than the recent FA/F drama has been going on, but now the site is picking up more in activity, so I've been using it more.
Its constant semi-dead state was what was putting me off, before.

If Sheezyart ever comes back, and doesn't turn out to be a gigantic pile of shit with the site remake, I guess I'll add that to my current rotation of art sites, along with DA and this one.
