    That looks great Tiamat, I find apples can be a great way to study light and colour due to the texture and hues of some apples, some are just plain colourful!
    I really like the way you mesh the colours together while still keeping it somewhat natural looking.
    did you colour the Bg or are you using black paper?

    Cool, really like the mouse in a cup, the dark paper really gives that one a great feel to it. Gotta try using dark paper myself, just never seem to get around to buying any
