Have you tried using eggs rather than circles? Or circles and wedges.

It might be good starting out with the basic non-perspective drawing off the lower body. This way you can learn to get a feel for the proportions?

Don't forget to always keep some kind of reference nearby. This doesn't mean copy paste what you see, but more of an interpretation what you see. Try to find the characteristics of the feet/legs/... and then into your drawing too.
(Does it has a pointy heel? Does the foot is complete flat? How are the toes curled? How long are the feet in proportion to the legs?)

I had not noticed the left foot was so large when I was drawing this. I was focused more on making it look somewhat natural having the point on the back. I wanted it to look like it was somewhat threatening with its hands like that. as for the feet I tried to make it look as if it were landing from a jump.

I feel like I have the shape of the snout down a bit but connecting it to the face is where my trouble lies. With the dragon drawing I tried to assume where the side of the face would go down but that gave the entire head a slanted feel to it.

Dragons typically have more of a beak than a snout right?

Depends on the dragon really. Some people mix the traits of cats, reptiles (like lizards and alligators) and birds.
Others have kind of a reptile/horse thing going on.
