    electro-swing

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq-F9JWBzDw

    It's this neato genre that's kind of a fusion of electronic music and 1920's swing, and it's magical. I'm looking for more bands like that besides just Caravan Palace and Parov Stelar, does anybody know of any good electro-swing groups? And while we're at it, go ahead and hit me up with any electronic artists that work with real instruments and peculiar genres.
    Yeah? well, y'know...that's just like, your opinion, man.

    I quite like Lyre Le Temps.
    They've some good tracks, such as Trauma Drum.
    Waldeck is good too, but they're not as swing as the rest.
    Mr. Scruff has neat songs as well.

    Yes!!! I'm so glad this genre is getting more popular! I've been making my friends/people I meet listen to Caravan Palace ilovethemsomuch ; v ;
    It's really cool <: Although Caravan Palace is a mix of electroswing and gypsy jazz, not only the former.

    I find electroswing to be pretty catchy. I'm not sure exactly how I came to discover it, but I really like the fusion between genres.

    And it's so upbeat. c:

    I absolutely love mixes of old and new! I'm trying to grow my electro-swing collection. I was first introduced to it by a mix done by MeggersNuff on FA, which lead me to Caravan Palace. Sadly I'm kind of lazy when it comes to going out and finding music

    Parov Stelar is awesome! I think their (his/her?) music gets a bit repetitive though. Lately I've been looking into black cat zoot and deladap, the latter is a little less electro and a little more swing, and I think black cat zoot is pretty much just a swing band, but both of 'em are awesome~
