Hopefully we'll find out soon if this was a deliberate change or an accidental one. I'm hoping it's the latter, because the narrower width of the text display makes a big difference for me in terms of how comfortable it is to read longer pieces on the site.

    Hope this relates:

I thought I was going cray cray, but I have been having text formatting issues as well, specifically on my latest journal found on my Weasyl page. The specific issues are that lists are not formatting correctly and italics are somehow light-colored instead of the color of the rest of the text. For legibility's sake I chose to underline instead of italicize.

In my journal, lists that should format as bulleted

    - such as this
    - and this

are not displaying as a bulleted list and instead remain unformatted.

this looks like it's another discrepancy between the javascript and python markdown renderers. I'm looking into it now.

It was a lot easier on the eyes the old way, so I'm wondering if this was intentionally changed or something that inadvertently happened with the switch, that could be changed back...?
    Any word on this?

Also wondering if there are any updates on the text width issue...

Text width -should- be turned to what it was.

I'll keep this open for a while in case anyone is still having issues with this.

The margins are still missing on my end (text stretches completely across the browser instead of a 'box' like Drive and PDF submissions), in both Firefox and Chrome. I've tried refreshing a few times and still no luck.

    Thanks for looking into it!
