    Oh my goodness, Astrid! Those look absolutely delicious. You are going to have to keep me away from the peanut butter cakes especially though. They will be gone if I were to get hold of them. haha!

    So uh,

    How the hell do you caramelize onions without burning them or it taking 2 hours? I love french onion soup, and I can't quite do it.

    Low heat is unfortunately the best way, though. The low heat lets the sugar breakdown process be at its most effective, although it shouldn't take 2 hours. Maybe half that, if even. Just use a little olive oil in your pan and let them simmer. It's worth the wait!

    Crock-pot is the idiotproof way of doing it, if you've got the time. Start them in the morning before you work, come home to amazing onions.
