    dicks

Uhm, honestly, I've got a soft spot for knees and noses. Elbows sometimes, and hands and feet are really neat.

Really? That's really interesting, and I say that just because all of those give me the most grief when I try to draw. XD If they're not on animals, anyway, they just elude me.

Part of it's because I'm totally into a challenge. Part of it's because I'm mesmerized at how many simple shapes it takes to make something we usually take for granted. Like, fingers are all "Here's a cylinder thing with a rectangle attached on top, but then you've got these hexagonal sorts of things partway through"

I can see accepting the challenge and letting the thrill of the challenge help, I've gotten that a few times with a few animal requests I've gotten- like penguins. Funny thing though, I've tried using simple shapes to help with my drawing, and they only drive me up the wall. XD I use a circle to help with the head location and use a warped trapezoid to make for the palm of the hand, but otherwise I just work around the anatomy of things to get the feel for things. Using two circles for the chest and hips without accommodating for the rib cage, stomach, womb, chest, abdominal muscles, etc. on the midsection along the way totally throws me off. XD

I've used the anatomy- like the rib cage, stomach, and womb location- to tell me where the hips belong. :3

Good job though on getting hands and fingers; I've found the trapezoid shape helps with the wrist and palm location, but fingers? They look like elongated triangles in my art. XD

D: No male satyr masturbation porn? Aww... Although, that does mean though that you can draw faun pinups though, right? Can't be all that bad!

When I draw the figure, I start with a line of action, followed by an egg shape for the ribcage and a box for the hips. Learning where to put them really boils down to studying the figure from life and getting a feel for it, I think. Honestly, from there, I draw lines for the legs and arms and work out bones and stuff and then just build muscle on top of that like I was working with clay. I may have a generic "this is sort of that shape, but it might be a potato" shape there while I work, but I always come back to it and sculpt it more. A good example is the hands; I usually draw mittens and then really come back and figure it out later.

I really love to draw humans or at least humanoids~ But recently I'm preferring to draw everything equally, as full illustrations~ I just don't get as much out of drawing one subject anymore~ But I will always enjoy humans/humanoids the most~<3 If I had to pick what I like most about drawing humans though, I would also say I love doing close portraits the most as I just love painting faces and hair~ : D

Mittens...? Mittens! That's fabulous! If it's alright with you, I'll give that a shot and see how that works for me.

Fair enough, I've just found that if I start with the simpler shapes that things don't quite look as they should, whereas if I just focus on the bones and muscles first things kinda fall into place. XD

Thank you for the tip, and I'll give it a shot and see how it works.
