Particular emphasis on this part. Confronting plagiarism is a huuuuuuuge cause of drama and really isn't worth the hassle. Drama lends itself to agitation and draws in more trouble than is really necessary.
On a related note, is it still the same course of action if the source file is on a site that requires a log-in to view?
