FWA 2013, you going?

I can't wait for this year's FWA! The Westin is such an awesome hotel, especially since they re-furbished it so its all pretty inside. This will be my second con and I can't wait. I'll be on Artist's Alley a lot doing badges and junk so stop by, I'll have plenty of badges with my dragon so you won't miss me. Or maybe you will I am short.

Anyways, I was just curious to see if anybody here was going too. :3

Well one plus side of cons are the hotel rates. Almost half the normal price to stay at a fancy hotel in the middle of Atlanta. <3 Even if you don't really go to the con its still cool to hang out in Atlanta for a few days. Plus the Cheesecake Factory is only one MARTA ride away. XD

I usually like going to conventions that house celebrities and such. For furry cons, I don't believe any notable figures speak at them (at least that I'm aware of). That and fursuiters. They freak me out.

That is true, I know there is this one guy that looks strikingly like Skrillex goes. That's about it though. XD The fursuits got me too at first but after awhile I just gave up and accepted it. Even did a con bage for one while I was in Artist Alley. I do understand where you are coming from though. There was this one dude fursuiting/cosplaying Ratchet who freaked me out, His head was too big for his body. >_>

I wish I could go to cons in general, but my fear of crowds and general social anxiety is too great.
FWA sounds fun though.
