Suggestion: Sketchfab Embedding

Greetings. I am a3D modeller stuck in a very tight situation. In ye olde circumstance of FA, my only option to show my models was to convert a turning video in SWF but as we know, Flash is going the way of the dodo in favor of HTML5. As of late however, I leverage a site and service called Sketchfab where viewers can use their mouse to rotate around the model and view it at any angle they please. They easily allow embedding which Weasyl allows for other services. Could Sketchfab be added to that list of allowable services?

so I went ahead and implemented it. You should now be able to supply a sketchfab URL to embed in a multimedia submission.

So this is slightly related, can we link directly to mp4 files please?
I just tried to do it and got an error.

On my wordpress site, they manage to get mp4s to stream with little/no issues.
Or what would I have to do to get an mp4 to stream on Weasyl?

I don't want to use youtube and I have my own host to work from.

I don't think we could allow embedding of data from arbitrary sites like that, for security reasons. It's a bit different with wordpress, where you have control over all the content that gets posted, so you can guarantee its validity. I'm afraid for now, you'll have to use a "trusted" host like vimeo or youtube if you want to post them here.
