    They just had to monetarise it. Bonus points for also insulting the British by cutting out the memorial for the 7/7 attack.

    I want to ask what the 7/7 attacks were but I'll probably get ripped apart for being an ignorant American. ;; I think I'll go Google it instead.

    Also, I wish more channels had the Olympics running. There are some sports I want to see but there are only two channels running two different things at the same time. I didn't know archery or field hockey was going on at all.
    sometimes I wish for falling
    wish for the release
    wish for falling through the air
    to give me some relief

    because falling's not the problem;
    when i'm falling, i'm in peace.
    it's only when i hit the ground
    it causes all the grief

    This ^

    Yet we're expected to feel the exact same way as Americans (well, some of them) about the 9/11 attacks. Fuck this gay earth.

    Anyway, I'm not interested in the olympics, never have been. Might take a look and see if anyone's uploaded any footage of the opening ceremony, at least the highlights.

    Major terror attacks on July 7th, 2005, in London. Awful stuff.

    Don't know how much you're into streaming sites in general, but this one has worked well for me in the past: http://www.thefirstrow.eu/

    God I love Fencing.

    Sadly the IOC only gives broadcasting rights to "exclusive broadcasters". NBC is the only company in the US allowed to broadcast the Olympics and it must only be on their stations : /

    Apparently SA has won a gold medal. Yay! Saw that on a Facebook post. I haven't actually watched any part of the Olympics.
