Click for example (https://www.weasyl.com/profile/judicant)

Presumably it being so obvious it's already noticed, but I didn't see this reported already, so... yeah. The speech bubble things look fine but the avatars are hella broken. At least that's how it appears on Firefox 15.0.1.

Also the profile cuts off a small part of the avatar (https://www.weasyl.com/profile/lizardking) at the bottom if there are no submissions.

I'm not quite seeing this problems myself - could you take screenshots of them? I'm using Firefox 13.0.1 on Ubuntu to test right now.

I'll point Aden to this thread as well to investigate this. Thanks!

The shouts seem to display oddly (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk31/lizard-pics/randomcrap/weasylshouts1.png) in 2 different ways (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk31/lizard-pics/randomcrap/weasylshouts2.png), depending on the nesting.

And here (http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk31/lizard-pics/randomcrap/weasylavatar.png)'s the avatar.

That is quite.. unsual! I'll go prod Aden to see if he can get around to this whenever he's online next.

Thanks for finding this. :3 He may post in here inquiring about it more as well, but I'm not sure.

Hey LK c:

Afraid I can't replicate either issue you posted. Tested Firefox 12 through the 16.0 beta on Win 7, Win XP, and OS X to be safe. Probably why nobody's reported anything like this yet. Let's see if we can get this narrowed down:

You have any firefox addons that might be interfering with the DOM/layout?
Any other special characteristics about your ff installation (e.g. compiled yourself, from a nightly, custom builds, etc)?
What's the width of your browser window?
What's your firefox's default text size set at?

Thanks brah

I'm on XP Pro SP3.

Only really Adblock plus, but it does the same thing with it disabled.

Nope. Bog standard.

What's the width of your browser window?

1284, give or take a few pixels. Looks the same fullscreened at 1680.

What's your firefox's default text size set at?

12.

Also I don't have anything overriding in userContent.

What is it supposed to look like? I played with Firebug and turning off a second max-width (http://i.imgur.com/jtGmp.png) setting seemed to make it look a lot better, and worked for both variations. I admit I've no idea how the more complex CSS stuff works and when such settings would or wouldn't apply, or why it would be applied when it shouldn't be.

12.

Mmm, that is smaller than normal (stock browser default is 16). I built the whole page structure around ems (font-relative sizes) in order to respect users' font preferences, so while everything should be flexible, there will probably be some quirks like this when it's outside the norm. Let me know if you see other oddities popping up.

For the userpage avatar, the problem is that the bars with the username, actions, commish status, etc are sized relative to the text inside them, but the avatar is sized to a pixel width because, well, images are pixel-based. So when the text is really small, the avatar stays the same size and is too big for the resulting layout.

I'll be brainstorming ways to get around that after work \:3/

Been looking like this (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/11788348/weasyl/ijeauifeda.png) for almost every browser I've tested on (I hide the lines for the lesser IEs because they are terrible).

I added a few rules in the stylesheet to reinforce the comments' structure. Can you tell me if there's any difference?

Edit: That just leaves the bottom of the avatar being cut off.
