Any other HERP activists/hobbyists here? For those wondering, HERP stands for Herpetological Education & Research Project, Herpetology pertaining to Reptiles & Amphibians.

I have been part of HERP and USARK (United States Association of Reptile Keepers) for a while, now. I was a reptile specialist for a mom and pop pet store in my hometown, where I handled and sold anything from snakes to Tegus, and I educated the public on a daily basis on their care, temperament, behavior, and benefits.

I used to own a sweetie pie of a Ball Python, but unfortunately I could not take her with me when I moved out of state, and I left her in the care of one of our local Reptile Rescue workers.

So, show me your reptiles! Share your experiences with me! Post some pics!

Aww, man... if I knew that there were groups like these in my area, I just might join. What do you need to do to do that?

HERPing is just a hobby. Anyone can do it, it isn't a club or anything. USARK costs a little bit of money to join, but the funds all go to reptile rescues and/or research :3
