I wonder about handwriting a lot more than I think is healthy, especially of artists.
So, let's see, huh?

Do you like your own handwriting? I guess.
How would you describe it? First one is the average way I write, and the second one is normally how I just do my signature... Let's just call it; simplistic. xP

I've been drawing for longer than I can remember. So I couldn't tell you? I have no basis for reference.
It probably hasn't hurt it, though, I'm sure.

Do you like your own handwriting?
It's okay.

How would you describe it?
I do the fancy shit (the first one) sometimes. I do the basic one, the rest of the time.
I don't like writing lower-case, although I do still do it.
I think I write so small because I'm a bit near-sighted. Smaller text (And things in general. Hurrhurr. Insert your penis jokes.) just looks better to my eyes, and fucks with them a lot less.
Got yelled at a lot in school for that. Don't care. I waste far less paper this way, so good for me.

Rate the person above's handwriting:
I don't really like judging handwriting, unless it's so bad that you can't read anything.
So, instead, a general comment: It looks like you just stretched out the second one. Lol.

Well, since becoming a digital artist I always seem to have a pen in my hand. I guess it has helped stabilize the shakiness. :)

Do you like your own handwriting?
There's good days and bad days - I like the good days! :x3:

How would you describe it?
Plain and simple, but gets the job done.

Rate the person above's handwriting: 8/10, I really like that type of writing (especially the "fancy shit" xD).

Do you like your own handwriting? It's hard to read but I like it.

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist? I like to think so but probably not. When I go back to writing with a pen or pencil it is just a cluster bomb... of ugly.
Do you like your own handwriting? Not really. Mine is too small and messy for most people to read. My boyfriend has to rewrite the grocery list so he can see it. XD

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist? That's not really a yes or no question for me. Where does one even pinpoint the exact moment in their life when they suddenly became an artist? I've been scribbling "art" on scraps of paper since before I could even read write, I just wish that my handwriting could match the aesthetics that my drawings have.

Do you like your own handwriting? Not at all.

How would you describe it? Do I really have to if I've provided a photo of it? I mean it's kind of a weird question now.

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist?
As I deal in poetry, writing is my foremost form of artistic expression, so I'd certainly say yes.

Do you like your own handwriting? Eh, there are things I'd certainly change about it, but it gets the job done. It's legible, and, with practice, it'll be pretty d**n nice in a few years.

How would you describe it? My print, which is only used when required, is rather fluid and curvy, a sort of precursor to using cursive writing.

My cursive is very loopy and fluid, with dramatic flourishes on ending p's, g's, y's, and q's.

Rate the person above's handwriting: 10/10 That's some of the neatest handwriting I've ever seen. I almost thought it was typed initially, until I saw the pencil graphite. A nice, fluid movement between letters and the elements within them.

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist?: Slightly? I really wouldn't know since I've been drawing since I was like 3 basically. I've gotten better at making it look nicer when need be but if I'm just writing to write, then it gets pretty chunky.
Do you like your own handwriting?: Sure. It's okay for what it is :V

I write better with pen and paper, not my tablet, but it'll have to do.

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist? I've been drawing all my life, so I honestly can't answer that. I was drawing before I could write, and not just scribbles.
Do you like your own handwriting? I do. I feel my print has a more immature feel, but I like it.
How would you describe it? My print may be a little underdeveloped. It sometimes feels sloppy. My cursive feels more like me though. I rarely print. Even in school all of my notes were in cursive.

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist? In first grade I had the neatest handwriting in class. It hasn't changed since then.
Do you like your own handwriting? It can look good when I'm careful, but I tend to lose patience after only a couple sentences. On the bright side, the letters are distinctive enough (to me) that I can write very small (http://pennyracers.frih.net/notecards.jpg) and still make everything out. (Shown: Test notes on either side of a 3x5 card)
How would you describe it? Tense. I hold a pen strangely, and with a lot of force.
Rate the person above's handwriting: 7/10. Looks nice in small doses, but it might get tough to read in bulk. That's just going by the larger print examples, though... the smaller print that you used to caption it is pretty smooth.

RE: capital cursive letters, Y'all cant cramp my style I do what I want
when using a tablet my handwriting is slightly different for print, but the flow is all wrong so I can't do cursive very well. I also sometimes hybridize cursive and print together into a confusing smushed-together mess.

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist? I think writing hundreds of pages of text for engineering courses has had a larger impact. But since that pretty much happened in parallel with learning to art, sure why not.
How would you describe it? Inconsistent? I think my print is fairly legible most days (at least I hope), but some of my cursive letters blend together and I make up my own rules for some of the letters, so it's a bit hard to read for others I think.
Rate the person above's handwriting: I'd give it an 8.2, would read again. My main gripe would be that the lettering feels a bit cramped sometimes.

for funsies, here's what I produced (http://i.imgur.com/ILFXtWa.jpg) last time I participated in a thread like this. If I recall, I spent some time being neat with all but the bottom example, but on this one I wrote everything at normal speed so there's a bit more sloppiness.

I think it's interesting more people go with the "straight" lowercase t rather than the "bent" one. I guess I kind of adopted it to avoid confusing with "+" when writing code and formulas :b

Has your handwriting improved since becoming an artist? Oh gods no! In fact, I could say that it's gotten worse. I blame the way I've held charcoal for the longest of times, writing "normal" just doesn't seem natural anymore... *looks @ Tablet Pen*
Do you like your own handwriting? Not really, but it gets the job done when I need to scribble down a note.
How would you describe it? Cursive's a jumbled mess where even I can't read it at times, while my regular writing looks like an elementary kid wrote it.
