Hello everyone.

As you know, Weasyl is always hard at work improving our site. Our techs are working hard to implement new features and polish old ones. We'd like to update you on these changes.

First, a big thanks to everyone who contributed to our IndieGogo campaign. We wouldn't have gotten off the ground without you. Those users who donated to the Weasyl team during that campaign are now immortalized: https://www.weasyl.com/thanks. Again, thank you for your faith in us as well as your continued support.

Next, we've made several changes to the index page on user profiles. The maximum displayed submissions per artist is now three. This includes both submissions and characters. And speaking of Characters, we've added an "Edit" option on the content page for uploaded Characters. The index has also been significantly sped up, allowing pages to load much faster.

We've also implemented URL autolinking. All typed out links will now become a clickable hyperlink. Those who still wish to hyperlink with custom text can still do so using BBCode.

Cover sizes have been increased to 1024x3000. All previously uploaded cover sizes have been converted to accommodate this new size.

One final note on the social media front: we've updated our Twitter page to include a staff page to the left of your screen on our Twitter profile. This page includes signatures which our staff will use when posting via Twitter, allowing you, our users, to know which staff member you're currently interacting with. We've also added a new Twitter page: https://twitter.com/WeasylDev. This is the place to go for all updates on Weasyl technical updates as they happen. We'll still be updating you through our usual means, but this is a new way to not only follow, but interact with our developers.

With the updates out of the way, we'd like to take this time to acknowledge that we've recently surpassed over 200,000 submissions. We can't thank you enough for your continued use of Weasyl and we look forward to seeing, watching, listening, and reading our next 200,000 submissions.

That's all for now! Please be sure to follow our Tumblr and Twitter, and join our forums to interact with the Weasyl community and stay up-to-date on all things Weasyl.

Huh, don't see mine in there. Wonder if it was because of the name I used for Indiegogo.

Still pretty awesome though! :3

If there's a mistake please email support@weasyl.com to tell us which name you used on the indiegogo donation and which name you would prefer on the list.

I like the Staff Twitter account idea :) Having two separate accounts is a good way to allow communication without taking away the notability of Weasyl messages in peoples timelines. Kudos!
