View Full Version : Looking for someone to redline my works...

Hey, all!
I'm kinda new to weasyl. I joined while it was still in beta testing, but only recently started submitting images and actually drawing artwork for the site.

The problem is, that I'm mostly drawing adult artwork these days--and I'm not very experienced at drawing adult themes.

This leads to a number of problems, mostly in trying to keep things anatomically correct to some believable extent. This is not only with the naked body, but also with hands and feet, as well as muzzles, for example.

My profile can be found at https://www.weasyl.com/profile/freyzingardt .
EDIT: As could be expected, NSFW material can be found at my profile page--you've been warned!

I would love redlines on my current image... and if at all possible, I'd love to have somebody I can request redlines from on Skype, as well, and maybe even chat or voice-chat leisurely while I draw.

If you're willing to add me on skype for this purpose, please send me a private message and a link to your profile page so I can see your works.

I greatly appreciate any input!

How are you coming by your poses?

Have you studied anatomy in the style that you want to draw and practiced working on the body parts?

I looked at your work and I would suggest doing this and practicing before requesting redlining.
Here I grabbed you a few links from da of just anatomy to start you out on practicing. Its not the fact you are doing nsfw but the fact your basic anatomy is already off before you get to that point.

Good luck on your art studies

I know its all Moni but thats what i had pulled up when I was going through all links, but its a good start

Hmm... Thanks for the reference links. These will most likely prove quite helpful.
I know my anatomy ability is pretty shaky. @_@ I attribute this mostly to the fact that I haven't drawn as much as I should've in the past nor have I sought out advice on drawing anatomy properly.

I definitely appreciate these, they're going into my reference folder for sure.
Another major problem I've had has been connecting the legs to the torso. Anything from the hips down feels a bit off to me. I'll have to seek out some references for that, as well.

Well I was really sad when I visited the "What inspires you" thread. Last time I visited those it was people showing what inspired them to thier style and etc.
This is also what I suggest to you.
Find the artist types that inspire you and you would like to draw more like them. Its ok to be heavily inspired by a certain artist. Has been for centuries. Thats why people under the greats like da vinci sought to mimic him exactly.
So find these artists and I suggest downloading everything they have. Just put them in their own folders inside a reference folder. Then if you are looking how to draw an eye or something go look at it. Try to stay drawing like them for a while and know the more you draw the better you will get. Honestly I would be a lot farther along if I had time to draw as much as i like.

If you can afford it, go to the book store and spend some time there. Look through all the art books, hog them all up. Find a corner where the staff cant see you and look at them. You will see a lot of repeated information of course. But find one that really catches your eye and gives you all the basic fundamentals that you want to learn. The ones that really break it down for you and dont seem to skip steps.
I have seen many of them go from circle to fully drawn picture and it leaves you going "Ok where did the other steps go?". I have a good artistic memory and would just go look at the books for a few hours then practice for a couple weeks and go back and look through them all again.

I think I am going to gather all my links and stuff post them soon, I think our reference links here on the forum are lacking atm. So keep a look out.

Righto, I'll keep an eye out!
And... I'll definitely try to find my inspiration. I guess it's kind of an important part. xD

None of your work is showing up for me?

It's probably because you have Explicit content filtered out under your settings. I'm almost exclusively gonna be an adult-oriented artist here on Weasyl...
