Just wondering if we have any martial artists here on these lovely forums? It can be pretty much any -real- martial art. What I mean by that is you took actual courses/taught by an instructor of some flavor. None of this "I saw it off a Nutaro episode" or some anime. Has to be a legit martial arts school.

For me: Tae Kwon Do (1 year green belt)
Boxing (2 years)
Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (tan belt)

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Post yours here.

Got a black belt at my karate academy over half a decade ago. It was a combined program—Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Kali, Kenpo—and it took about seven years to reach that level.

These days I'm out of practice, though

I once partially tried taking on Taekwon-do, but I never too it seriously enough. However I'd much rather try get into doing Kendo! Since it's great for Physically and Mentally strengthening yourself. ^_^

Did two years of karate but didn't like it. I just practice my own style.

I took two years of Tea Kwon Do when I was a kid ( green belt) and then another year in Highschool at an after school program taught by Grandmaster Park, who owns a school here. ( Believe we all made it to yellow belt)

I've been looking to start taking lessons again, though probably not Tae Kwon do again. Perhaps Tai chi, though I'd love to find a Jeet Kwon do school, but thats not going to happen any time soon where I live.
