Hey all!

Loving the site so far, but I had a few basic questions.

Is there a way to change the Featured Submission on one's profile? I've noticed that it changes the Featured Submission to the last thing uploaded, and I'd like to change that.

Also, when creating a submission, is there any way to create links in the submission details? I've tried [url] and <a href=> , but neither seem to work. I noticed that when making a journal it has an option to insert a link via the user interface, but there is no such option when typing in the description for a submission.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer!

Featured submission currently defaults to most recent submission right now. Hopefully we can get a change for that soon.

Main site uses bbcode, so it would be [url]. I just tested it and it works fine for me. Could you post how you were typing the code up so we can try to figure out how to help? Thanks!

Ahh, alrighty. :)

And sure!

Example:

http://www.google.com

Link (http://www.google.com)

Those were the two formats I tried, and neither seemed to work initially when putting in a new submission.

Well, hm. That works here. Lemme go try again over at the main site.

Well I'll be damned. It works now. x3 I must have been punching in the format incorrectly. Okay, so the text formatting isn't an issue any longer! Thanks for your help.

Okay, got an additional small question. The code tag for the Copyright symbol in BBCode does not appear to work. Is there an alternative?

I've tried:

"(c)"
"[c]"
"&copy"
"%copy"

Thanks~

Just use the alt code for it and see if that works for you. It allowed me to place it in my submissions and saved just fine. Alt+0169 on numpad

I don't think we have a shortcode for that symbol. However if you are on Windows and turn on Num Lock you can press ALT + 0169 (hold alt while pressing the four keys, then let go of alt after) it will make the symbol.

- ALT + 0169
- ALT + 0174
™ - ALT + 0153
